This project was a collaboration between my class of three students and the art collection of Dresden.
The goal was to create three short videos, that would be shown in elementary and high schools all over Germany.
The main character of the story is August the Strong™, the duke of Sachsen and later King of Poland.
My role in these short films was to:
- create a moodboard
- illustrate and animate the horses and carriages, as well as horses with riders
- illustrate several sneakers that reflected Augusts real life interests. Such as the ottoman empire, traditional Chinese art, porcelain, ostriches, as well as gold and metallic objects with high value.
- illustrate profile pictures for the social media commentators/ likers show on his phone, these were based off of real life people that used to know the real August.
